Bees are disappearing at a shocking rate due to harmful practises, such as the use of pesticides, destroying their habitat and increasing global temperatures. The bees engraved are honey bees, as this species pollinates on a mammoth scale. The composition of the bees shows a swarm around the glass, presenting them in one of their most vulnerable states, akin to their current position within nature.
